Published a S.C.M. sentences of the four men tried on the 29th ultimo - Wood proved to be absent from the camp without permission, and under influence of liquor. Was disrated from Corporal to Private. Johnson, Miller and Kelly, each, 1 days confinement, and to lose 3 months pay for being absent from camp. Malietoa and chiefs came on board and interviewed Commissioners. The Brutus left at 7:00 with 700 Tutuila Samoans on board, to proceed to that Island. Received from Malietoa adherent 1338 rifles.
